Funny how my last journal title is "I'm alive!" - I still am, but someone else isn't.
And that isn't funny - it's very, very sad, and this world is oh so unfair.
And this is why I want to be thankful for and enjoy every single moment, every little thing in this frightening, unfair and cruel grand scheme of things.

A wonderful person died yesterday, leaving heartbroken parents, girlfriend, friends and even acquaintances. Yes. Because he was nice to everyone, always giving wonderful, happy, full of life smiles to anyone he met. After something like this, anyone who thinks the world isn't turning the wrong way should and probably will think things over, and hopefully appreciate the little joys of life.

One thing that frightens me is the fact that it still doesn't make people think - after his accident (and it seems it was only the wet road's fault) I witnessed kids his age, my age, going around on their tiny little oh so unstable motorbikes in twos and without helmets. If something so terrible can happen to someone observing safety measures, it can certainly happen to people who don't. Why? Why do people behave this way?

So please, next time you leave your house, take a deep, deep breath and breathe in all the air you can, let it enter your lungs, notice the smell of the air (hopefully it won't be bad), feel the wind on your face and in your hair. Breathe in some LIFE and stop killing yourselves with cigarettes, hug your loved ones and hold them so very tight because it might not happen again. Be nice to strangers and people you know - it really doesn't pay to be snobby and ignore people - learn to give happiness like this young man did. It is just so much better, it fills your life and that of others with love, and love IS life. Hate and even just indifference don't help those you hate or ignore, but it doesn't help you either, so please, before being mean or ignoring or even being fake towards someone, PLEASE think twice and ask yourself if they deserve that treatment just because they're different.
